This is a reminder that Wired Wednesday is on for tomorrow after school 3:30-4:30 in Cyndi’s room. Please bring your laptop and iPad.
This is not a mandatory class. It’s offered to provide you with time to work with instructional technology without students so as to alleviate some stress. Follow-up support is included for free. 🙂
We’ll be focusing on Notability, which is a powerful, yet wonderfully simple note-taking and annotation application.
Students and teachers can use Notability daily to take notes, sketch ideas, annotate PDFs, mark-up photos, record lectures, provide audio feedback and more. It is uniquely designed for each device to provide the best note taking experience at school, at home, and at work. And with iCloud, your notes are always up to date.
Capture memorable notes with these essential features
I invite you to join me for Wired Wednesday tomorrow in Colin’s room from 3:30-4:30. We’ll be working with Educreation and uPad. Each application offers a unique way for students to present their thinking in an individualized yet cohesive, organized way.
During the hour, I will demonstrate the features of the applications, we’ll discuss project ideas and have time to develop mock-ups of ideas for students to see.
Each session is worth 1/15th of a credit (1 seat hour).
Please bring your laptop and iPad.

Tech Tuesday is coming up March 4th. This time we’ll have a special guest teacher sharing her experiences with utilizing iPads in the classroom
I (Allison Clasen) would like to share a glimpse into an average day in my iPad saturated classroom. My role has shifted away from direct instruction as I’ve evolved to become more of a facilitator. I give my students the tools and guidelines to reach learning outcomes and provide assistance along the way. For the most part, they are on their own to take charge of their learning. The students rise to the challenge and produce outstanding products. The majority of our classwork consists of project-based learning with the use of rubrics. This allows the students to personalize their learning and develop a deeper understanding of concepts. My teaching style has completely changed as iPads have become an essential learning tool in my classroom. Please join me as I share ideas that have transformed learning in my classroom.
Please your iPad loaded with the applications below.
