We are excited to announce the Discovery Education Young Scientist Challenge in partnership with 3M. This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers and students to participate, and of course I’d love to see some winners from the best region, the west! 🙂 Feel free to pass this information on to any of your districts, schools, teachers, etc. who might be interested!
Students in grades 5-8 can create their own 60-120 second videos using digital cameras, cell phones, and/or webcams. Semi-finalist student winners get a $250…. Finalists win an all expense trip to Washington DC for the finalist and a PARENT (do you have your own child in grades 5-8?) among other items… the 1st place winner receives $50k savings bond and 2nd-10th get $1,000.
