My mathematics class has been inspired by the mathematics tutorials on www.mathtrain.tv and on www.khanacademy.org. So we thought we’d give it a try! This series of videos demonstrates what students have been learning since school started on August 22nd.

Thanks to our wonderful Tech person, Tava Smathers, we have an updated set of instructions for parents on how to set up their Parent Portal….Remember, this is where you can see your child’s teachers’ names, attendance, behavior, grades, list of classes. This is different from FUSION!

Javits Courses
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has been awarded the federal Jacob K. Javits Grant. This grant enables them to offer some fantastic courses at a super rate of $35 a credit (+$55 for Adam’s State Credit). The courses are aimed at enhancing teachers’ ability to serve their gifted and talented students. This is a great offer! I just signed up for a class that starts in October. The schedule is attached.
