Wired Wednesday: Open Session
Hello everybody,
During today’s Wired Wednesday we will have an open session. No agenda, just time to work on practicing using instructional technology or learning from each other.
Ideas for coming:
– Explore applications that help you enhance teaching/learning strategies
– Set up and explore Schoology gradebook
– Set up quizzes on Schoology
– Explore using Casper Focus for classroom management
– Investigate Nearpod or a different application that you’ve never tried.
Each session is worth 1/15th of a credit (1 seat hour).
Please bring your laptop and iPad.

Wired Wednesday: Resources
Teachers,
Please join me for Wired Wednesday. Tomorrow we will focus on using Schoology Groups and Resources to collaborate with peers to SAVE time and effort. All are welcome! Whether you are afraid you’ll break it or are a Power User or something in between, you are encouraged to attend. Please bring your laptop and iPad.

– Share your work with groups or outside educators

Join Chess Club!

Come join the TSD Chess Club! We gather on most Mondays from 3:20 – 4:00 at TIS in room 105. Chess Club runs through March 28th.

- January 2, 9, 23, & 30
- February 6, 13, & 27
- March 6, 13, 20, 20 & 27
The TSD Chess Club welcomes students of every ability level, from the complete beginner to accomplished grandmasters. Everyone will learn new tactics, new strategies and will have FUN!
The yearly membership fee for Chess Club is $10 (scholarships available). This small fee will help to ensure that Chess Club will be able to continue next year. There are no refunds. you will also receive a tournament style board and pieces in order to practice at home with friends and family.
You MUST have a permission slip form (goo.gl/ADKpnd) signed by a parent in order to join. Drop in’s are welcome. Also, I understand that you may be involved in other after school activities. So you do not have to attend every Club meeting. The days you attend should be arranged between you and your parent. Students should know in advance whether they are walking home or you are picking them up.
